Crews continue to push ahead of schedule as the new Santa Fe Express High Speed Quad continues towards completion. This week, we once again enlisted the help Timberline Helicopter’s Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter to fly the 12 new lift towers and heads to their new homes.

The summer team has also finalized concrete work, pouring the last large slabs at the bottom terminal this week. The upper terminal is now in place, with the bottom terminal and lift shack expected to be in place by early September.

From there, crews will run the new haul rope cable and place the new chairs. Once the chairs are hung, we will begin the break-in and testing process. We are well on pace to have the new lift spinning Opening Day, tentatively scheduled for Nov. 28th.
