This summer will be an exciting time at Ski Santa Fe and we want to keep our guests up-to-date on all the progress as we build the new Santa Fe Express, which is set to replace the old Super Chief quad.
The Santa Fe Express will take guests up the mountain in just over four minutes, shortening what was previously a 12-minute lift ride. The new lift will be the first high-speed chairlift to be installed at Ski Santa Fe, and the first new lift at the area since the Millennium Chairlift which was installed in 2005.
Currently, we have removed the chairs and haul rope from the old lift, as well as the upper terminal. The Rock Hut was removed this week and the lower terminal is set to come out mid-May.
We do ask that those looking to access the National Forest via Ski Santa Fe observe all closures due to construction and access the area via Easy Street or Sunnyside.
Stay tuned throughout the summer as we will be providing frequent updates on the lift project. Follow us on social media to see photos and videos from the project as they happen!
